Choosing the Right Outdoor Canopy Heaters

There are a number of types of outdoor temperature controlled outdoor canopy heaters available. Depending on your personal preference, you will want to consider each type and what it offers before purchasing one.

The first option is the electric outdoor canopy heaters. These units are plugged into a transformer and provide a constant heating source. These are designed for use in the hot summer months, but they can be used year round if desired.

This is usually the most common style of outdoor heaters. These can be small, compact or medium-sized units. They have been designed so that they can be placed in smaller areas and they are very portable. Since the unit is smaller, it has less heat to be distributed to surrounding areas.

The second type of outdoor heaters are gas outdoor heaters. These units are able to run on natural gas, propane or natural gas. They work in a similar fashion to the electric outdoor heaters, but they do not require the use of electricity.

This type of outdoor heaters is generally smaller than the electric units. It has two seats that you can sit on during operation. This style is perfect for outdoor entertaining or during the colder months. You can also set the thermostat to your desired setting and enjoy the warmth year round.

These are perhaps the least used style of outdoor heaters. These units use a fan to cool the surrounding area. Some of these units have a thermostat that allows you to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level.

The next type of heater that is available is air handler units. This type of heater is very compact and usually requires a minimum amount of maintenance. These units will work in a similar fashion to the older models of the heater, but the air flow has been increased.

The last type of outdoor heaters is solar collectors. These types of heaters use solar energy to provide a constant source of heat. These units are perfect for inside areas because they are able to heat water, but are sometimes difficult to use outside.
